The contest
COMPETITION FORMAT
World’s best skaters will compete for $30.000 prize pot in streetstyle, bowl and best trick contests. Ladies will compete in streetstyle for a prize pot of $2.500. The contest is sanctioned by Wold Cup Skateboarding, WCS provides judges and compiles the contest results which are included in the World Cup rankings.
COMPETITION FORMATS
STREET QUALIFYING: 80 Skaters – 6 Heats – 15 skaters per heat – 2 (1 min) runs – best run.
19 skaters advance to Semi-Finals along with the following pre-qualified Top 5 skaters from NASS’11 - Kelvin Hoefler, Rodil Jr., Rodolfo Ramos, Thaynan Costa, Milton Martinez + Last year’s Mystic Cup winner Maxim Habanec
STREET SEMI-FINALS: 25 skaters (19 from Qualifying and 6 pre-qualified), 5 heats of 5 skaters, 5 minute warm-up, intro run, 5 minute jam in ORDER in two sections of the course. Top 10 scores advance to the Finals.
FINALS: 10 skaters – 1 heat for 1st thru 10th places –Intro run (1 min) + last trick, 10-minute jam in ORDER in each section, 1 minute rest in-between sections.
LADIES STREET:
Final – 10 skaters. Intro run (1 min) + 1 last trick, 10 min Jam in ORDER.
